WHAT IS THE BACHATHON?

Bachathon Info

- How to participate in the Bachathon

- Bachathon Application

The annual Bachathon is a fundraiser sponsored by the Music Teachers’ Association of
California, San Diego Branch, to benefit the Goodlin scholarship fund.

The competitive Goodlin auditions are held in May, and we have an ongoing active
campaign to raise money to add to the Goodlin Foundation principal. The more
MTACSD can add to the principal, the more money we can give out as scholarships. The
Bachathon has become one of the most popular fundraisers to date.

Participants in the Bachathon can play a piece by Bach or any of his relatives, choose the
time he or she would like to play on our fundraiser, and make a donation in any amount
to the Goodlin Fund. Players may wish to have friends or family as sponsors. Performers
can be any age and live in any locality to take part in the Bachathon.

If you do not want to perform but wish to make a donation, please make checks payable
to The San Diego Foundation, Memo: Goodlin Foundation, and send to 2508 Historic
Decatur Rd. Suite 200, San Diego, 92106, CA
