San Diego Branch Piano Duo Festival 2011

The MTAC San Diego Branch Piano Duo Festival will take place on May 1, 2011 at Green Music, 7480 Miramar Rd. San Diego 92126. The deadline to register for this event is midnight, April 9, 2010. Entry fee is $25 per person; $50 for a Duo team. Register your students on the MTAC website at sandiegomtac.com. Write one check per studio (drawn on the teacher's account) and send it to the address below with a list of your entering students printed from the website, postmarked
by April 10, 2010.

The categories are as follows:
Category 1 (ages 5-9) - limit 3 minutes
Category 2 (ages 10-12) - limit 4 minutes
Category 3 (ages 13-15) - limit 5 minutes
Category 4 (ages 16-high school) - limit 7 minutes

Awards in addition to certificates will be given to deserving teams. Music
must be originally for 4 hands or two pianos. Younger students must enter
in the higher age category if paired with an older student. All music is to
be performed by memory without repeats. Teams may not repeat repertoire
from last year's program. Photocopies of music will disqualify students.
