Membership in the Music Teachers
Association of California
affords both members and their students many opportunities
for growth and performance.
MTAC members can enroll their
students in any of the following programs:
Certificate of Merit
Composers Today
Concerto Competition
Sonata Contest
Branch Duo Festival
Popular Music Festival
Southern CA Junior Bach Festival
Spring Festival
H.B. Goodlin Foundation Scholarship Program
VOCE Competition
MTAC membership also provides
opportunities for growth for teachers through meetings and
workshops held throughout the year.

Requirements for active membership
are as follows:
2 sealed copies of college transcripts
1 copy of diploma
Proof of 2 years teaching experience
Membership dues
(Persons without a diploma
may still qualify for membership)
Business Affiliate Membership
may be approved for non-teaching persons,
including firms and institutions interested in supporting
the Purposes of
